These do as you'd expect and they do it right. Nice they have two opposing zippers on each side to hold the sand in. No drips at all. Very well made.

Most of the reviews I read stated that these sandbags don't actually seal tight enough for them to be filled with sand. So I skipped the sand and used "decorative" flat marbles. You know, the kind that go into potted plants, vases and aquariums. They are still heavy enough, are able to form around things to create a solid base hold and aren't messy. Maybe not as cheap as sand but I went to the dollar store and bought several bags. I spent $6 on enough of the flat marbles to fill both bags. Not too shabby. No extra plastic bags or sealing necessary.Note: I'm not using these on a film set. If you want to use them on a film set and think you may have to move them quietly during takes or something then I'd stick to sand. The marbles do make a bit more noise than sand. The noise is only noticeable while actually moving the bags.

this two pack of sand bags securely held my lighting and my camera tripods while I shot outside. I was so worried about them falling over if the wind swept by but with this filled with sand, they made the perfect counter balances. they laid right over the legs and are so easy to carry with the thick grip handle

I bought this to use as a weight for an RV sewer hose. Works perfect, so much better than using rocks.

they pack easily, and by using 1 gal zip-lock freezer bags filled with water they conform to what ever you lay them over. Also just dump the water out and repack as before.

I will admit, these bags seem to get the job done, however, the zippers are cheaply made and don't close all the way. Therefore leaking sand.

These bags are strongly constructed from heavy nylon woven fabric and have a double zip and strong webbing straps to hang or carry the bags with. They have what feels like a metal spine at the fold, underneath the webbing straps which gives the bags some structure. I filled the pockets with play-sand, inside a zip-lock food bag for extra security, although it probably wouldn't need it.One minor issue which I have had before with some Chinese-made fabric goods: a strange smell. Not dreadful and seems to be dissipating when aired.Great product, good value.
