I see a lot of complaints about these. I personally love them. They fit perfectly on a certified Arca mounting plate. Some plates are deeper some are shallow. Before purchasing, check the depth. It’ll save you returning them. I use Colorado ball heads and two other Arca certified Giotto fluid head mounts and they work on those as well. They’re strong and the flip ring works as designed. The trick to those is to not over tighten. Too many people think it has to be iron tight. If your plate has rubber or cork on it, then you should not have to tighten if a lot. If you’re trying to replace cheap tripod plates, it’s hit or miss if they’ll fit properly. The lesson is to use a standardized mounting system, such as Arca and these should work well for your application.

The case is very small and fits all the commonly used screws nicely. Goes in my Video Case with my rig. My only suggestion would be nice if these had hex key heads in addition to the slots. Great value!

Many times I've dropped a screw or was trying to fit something to my tripod that this little box could have fixed. Very glad I saw on Amazon.

I am a photo / video journalist and carry dozens of lights, cameras, solid and bendable extension arms, umbrellas, and reflectors. Thank you to the manufacturers who cannot agree on using 1/4" or 3/8" mounting threads -- not to mention the times that I need to use a hinged joint to put an extension bar on a tripod base and need a male to male or female to female mount to make it happen. Aaauugh!!!This kit makes everything so much easier to do what I need to do and I can quit worrying if I have the parts I need during a shoot. Thank you!

I bought these to have mounted on the outside of a flight case I have in my van. They perfectly hold my lights and I don't have to waste time packing the lights into cases and this keeps them perfectly safe during transit. I shoot weddings so it means the lights are easily accessible when I need them and dont take an age to securely pack them away on the way home. Perfect for my needs.
