First, I'm not a professional photographer. But I've done serious photography for 60+ yrs. This flash is an excellent value for the price. ETTL mode is consistent across camera settings. For studio and multi flash setting you can individually adjust light output to suit the mood. And if you are into strobe shots it has multiple flash mode that will allow you to set the number of flashes and their frequency. It has it all for the serious photographer at a reasonable price.

Nice flash. some adjustments don't work and customer service is terrible. You have to leave messages which are not returned. For the price I'd expect better. Update: Customer service did get back to me and has provided me with a better means of communication with them.

I have had a Canon TTL and Sigma. Like those this will attach easily to the hot shoe. I like the clamp on this one as it is a quick latch down similar to most Canons. This is a little loose (wiggles) on the hot shoe but doesnt fall off. The Sigma I had was a turn dial and always came loose. It broke.The instructions on this are a bit difficult to follow. I’m still trying to figure out how to adjust the flash power and brightness. It might not be adjustable to what I am looking for. Thats ok- I can still make it work. I think for the price point, I made it througb my daughter’s entire senior portrait session and the pics turned out great. Very little ghosting. Duracell batteries have lasted over 200 flashes.The internal defuser and reflector work well. Angling and offsetting the aim point is easy to do. I used it on a frame, rather than directly to the camera hotshoe. I wish it came with an external soft light defuser, my version from my Sigma wont fit. Its one way to soften that flash. I may have to look for a flash box or umbrella for this as it is bright.

The features are awesome but the flash actually don't work. When I complained first time Neewer replaced it they are very nice and attendance but when I got the second one and it didn't work, I have tried few different batteries brands and saw huge difference .In most of the cases it didn't work at all and in some cases I needed to turn on and off about 10 to 20 times , till suddenly it starts working and even then not everything work.Example the zoom is not changing. They are aware of the situation, so they recommend specific batteries, " Rechargeable Panasonic ", hope we understand that it doesn't make sense. Also the firmware update don't work and the update is for better batteries detection.So actually I own a flash I can not relay on , like not having one. I am still in correspondence with Neewer service, they are very attentive and suggest I use NI MH 1.2V instead of the 1.5V I am using. I will try that and update.

I eventually sold my Nikon SB-900 flashes as they notoriously got too warm during events and locked up and went to Godox speedlights, they were a fraction of the price and outperform the Nikon ones as far as battery life.So that is what we're comparing this to. The Neewer line of products is meant to bring affordability to photographers who need good gear with lots of features but can't pay the Big Three name brand prices and for the most part, I have really enjoyed their lighting solutions.This flash did not have the battery life my Godox flashes did but was able to quickly recover when shooting quickly and didn't overheat like my Nikons did. The controls are easy to learn and navigate.For this price you could easily invest in a multiple off-camera flash setup for the price of one speedlight from another manufacturer.I recommend at this price if you are looking for a good entry-level speed light.

Me gusta mucho la opción de seleccionar entre tres modos para usarlo en el Hot shoe de mi cámara. Solo que al no ser de la misma marca tiene un poco de problema de comunicación de los datos de la cámara (iso yf) al usarlo en modo TTL. EstarÃa más que perfecto que incluyera el interruptor óptico para usar el flash con softbox.

A very capable flash unit, well made and full of features. It has a menu driven setting interface and a stand to it can be stood up off camera.

Pour les puristes certainement tres bien mais perso sur un hybride c'est vraiment trop gros .Je le retourne pour prendre un modele plus petit

Sehr toll, schnell, man braucht 4 Batterien aber dann ist es sofort an, hat sich tadelos mit der Sony a 6700 verbunden und geschossen was es soll. Einfach zu handhaben musste nichtmal die info lesen und hab intuitive editen können was auf dem Display ist.
