I used this barndoor kit to restrict the light spillage in a reef tank refugium application. It is easy to use and sturdy.

Attachable barn doors for my led light panel. This fits my 7 inch panel perfectly. Screws onto the front of my panel and and controls the lighting as well as protects it from outside sources, letting my light reflect and direct where I want it. Creates a much better focus and captivates my subject. All 4 doors are adjustable and can be pulled all the way back to completely open it or closed shut. Since each door sits on its own hinging I can individually customize each one to where I want it. Effectively smart design since the doors are black, and black does really well for containing light.

I already had the Neewer light and just needed this barn door to help control the output. It was easy to install and does the job; very solid material.

Are they the best? No they’re not. But will they handle the job? Mostly. They’re not extremely bright. But They’re built well. The batteries seem to last forever. They’re not going to withstand too much of a beating which is why I suggest protecting them in a hard case and they Nc punkD possibly last forever. For years now I have used these to light the darker rooms for most if not all of my real estate shoot. Yes, I’m just now reviewing. Because I don’t believe in rushing to judgement. They’re still working good. I haven’t had an led go out yet. For what I paid I think I got what I paid for Which is decent lighting for a very fair price. I’m happy with my purchase. I’ve used the ARRI rentals and yea these aren’t these. Not even close, and never will be, but for what you pay it’ll get you started on the path to be able to afford more higher performance lighting. Thanks to these being “good enough for the time being†I’ve made a lot of money using these. These 480’s by Neewer helped me get to where I should be in terms of production value. Now I run Aputure but I highly recommend reaching for this brand FIRST or you’ll probably starve to death.

One thing I would change is having the barn doors just a tad closer to the LED panel so there's no loss of light/light spillage on the open sides, but honestly, that's something I can very easily overlook. I love these barn doors because I can have them for their function, but when not in use, it can fold and protect the light itself. The barn doors themselves are made of a sturdy matte-like metal that won't be breaking any time soon. Neewer never disappoints.

In general, it is a very useful tool. Maybe you think it's unnecessary, but I prefer to focus the lights on a small area. This barn door has four leaves that can be individually adjusted to precisely control light transmission. It does work well. Very small, carrying is not a troublesome thing. When closed, it protects the lamp beads. So, this is a product with many benefits, recommended.

For a minute I thought it was a light with a barn but I just got a barn is kind of confusing the way you guys advertising this product I suggest you work on how you advertise your product I thought I got a good deal but I guess not.

This barn door metal fixture frames and fits right into my light panel, easy to screw into the panel. This tool really helps shape the the lighting from outside sources and allows me to directly place the direction I want the lighting from the led panel to go. Perfect for both shooting video or photos. 4 leaf door paneling, easy to open/close with the hinging. I can adjust each door individually for a custom arrangement.

Haber mir den Shutter als Zusatz für die Neewer LED Video/Fotoleuchte gekauft. Damit läßt sich das Licht gut gestalten und lenken. Daher eine Kaufempfehlung.
