It's a great set. Just what I wanted metric and SAE. It doesn't stop at 3/4 of an inch. I don't know why socket sets to do that. doesn't skip sizes they're in a huge box. The sockets are laid out. Nice. Nice latches on the box. All you need is A impact gun. This is way better than digging through a bucket or a bag of sockets. Looking for the size you need.

I work on friends and family cars only. Lately I’ve been very busy on weekends working on cars. I’ve been doing easy repairs like shocks/struts, brakes/rotors, alternators, starters, full tune ups and simple oil changes. I wanted to buy a portable 1/2†socket set with no skips in sizes and came across this one while randomly browsing. Price was fair and the case looked somewhat compact. It’s been more than 30 days and I’ve made repairs in 12 cars so far only using this set. The sockets held up and can take a beating! I paired them up with my Milwaukee 1/2†Stubby and 3/8†Fuel Ratchet with adapter. The sockets were able to survive the high speed impact! No cracks nor warps! Just scratches from regular wear and tear but that’s it. I definitely enjoy this set and get so much value from it. Has all the right size sockets and they are of amazing quality. I would definitely recommend this set to any weekend warrior or any one just looking for a great deal on a long lasting impact socket set!

Great tools! Sockets are very well built,they hold the nuts and bolts with no problem. Sizes are what most will need for your repairs,organization is very well and goes up how they should. Ratchet functions perfect as well.

These get the job done, however do note that the extension bars are not straight. Having one on causes the socket to go off center when it's being run.However, with that said, these are an insane value given other sets can be 2-3x the price. Time will tell if they last.One other note, I would not call them "shallow", sure they are shallow-ish for a 1/2 drive, but they are still quite long. Could be a pro to some, but for my application it made it difficult to get into the spots I needed to.

I picked this socket set up along with an "Amazon Special" 1/2" drive impact driver last week to help me replace the sacrificial anode in my hot water heater. Simple brute force wouldn't budge the bolt and no breaker bar of any worth could be used in the limited space. Solution - impact driver! I would have rather purchased a set from a known US company instead of another no-name Chinese one, but I couldn't find a set that included sockets over 1" so I went with this one.First off, the box is HEAVY. That's a good thing! It means there is a sizable amount of steel in there. The cardboard shipping box had blown out one end and I was surprised the set was still inside it untouched. The case is reasonable, with a good set of latches keeping everything secure. Nothing rattles when shaken. Inside the case there is a thin piece of foam laying between the sockets and the case cover, keeping everything in place. The sockets are coated with a thin, slightly sticky oil to keep them from rusting. Don't try to clean it off. Leave it there to do its job. It kind of reminded me of cosmoline, but not as bad!Like I said earlier, the impact driver I got is a no-name Chinese Amazon special, but claims to put out up to 320 ft-lbs of torque. I mated the socket to the driver and went to town on the hot water heater. Being my first experience using an impact driver, I expected the bolt to come out quickly. Nope, not happening. I ended up hammering on the bolt for a good 20-30 seconds with the trigger fully pulled before I finally started seeing rotation. The 20 year old anode bolt finally did come out (in one piece) and I immediately saw why it was so damned tight - no Teflon tape was used on the threads! It was bare steel-on-steel threads, most likely installed with another impact driver!Replaced the anode and made sure Teflon tape was used this time around. Used a regular ratchet wrench to hand-tighten the bolt. No leaks! Took a close look at the socket afterwards and no worse for wear. We'll see what the next job will be, but I have a feeling that I'll be replacing the driver LONG before I have to get another socket set!

Tengo el de 3/8 y este de 1/2. Los dos son un buen conjunto de herramientas no conozco otra marca que se le compare con respecto a la resistencia. Son dos puntos negativos (ni tanto)el primero es que los dados de 1/2 (10, 11, 12 mm) son muy robusto (se entiende por la entrada de 1/2) para espacios pequeños. QuerÃa vender el de 3/8 pero lo pensaré dos veces pues estos (3/8) dados son más compactos para espacios más pequeños.El segundo es que este paquete (1/2) no trae lo dados de 8 y 9mm. No son los más usados pero no los más abandonados.En general todo excelente si tienes el de 3/8 querrás el de (1/2).

Exactly as advertised. A very well thought out deep socket set, which has every size I need. Each of the sockets fits perfectly to my 1/2" drive adapter. The set comes very well packaged and presented in a very handy storage and carry case. Great socket set at a very reasonable price point. Awesome value for money.
