Needed a new filter so decided to try this one. It fit into the filter tube with no issues and the water has seemed to improved since putting this in. It feels sturdier and like it will end up being better than other ones that I've tried. I have no issues and it's worth the price.

Fit my canister correctly and seems to work fine. Noticeably better flow than before replacement, so I probably waited too long.

This filter fits in a standard 2 1/2 inch by 10 inch filter housing. It's difficult to evaluate this product. In the online information, the company implies that they make products for drinking water, but they never use the words "drinking water" or "potable water" for any of their products including this one.The paper label enclosed in the wrapping says, "Micron: 1". The sticker on the outside of the wrapping that says the filter is for scale reduction says it is 5 micron.Lastly, it will take weeks or months to assess if this actually reduces scale, so I will have to get back on this.
