I was a bit skeptical but the quality is solid and the accuracy is repeatable. Very easy to use compared to the big name brands and the price is right. Works the same as any of the other brands.

Great product for the price. I can't compare the accuracy until I get a know calibrated gage.

Seems to be a mitutoyo knock off.

The instructions could be better/more in-depth for someone (like me) who hasn't used this type of instrument before. Quality is high and so is the value.

Most engine bore guages would cost you five times what I paid for this and it is proven to be accurate down to .0005" which exceeds my needs for honing and checking piston to cylinder wall clearances I have no complaints for the price I paid for this thing it works great. And for those of you that don't like digital gauges you can swap the gauge out for a mechanical it's very simple.

This is a very nice bore gauge. It is not often that I need something like this, but as with some tools, when you need them, nothing else will get the job done. And this is that kind of tool.I am retired from an industry where almost every job in the building required the use of dial indicator gauges of some type or another. And you used them 100's of times a day. While this gauge is digital, making it easier to read than a dial, the rest of the gauge is basically the same as what we used. I say that to say this...the Neoteck Digital Bore Gauge seems to be a very high quality instrument. The fit and finish is as good as any I have used. This is my first experience with Neoteck, but I do not think it will be my last. I am very impressed!I believe that, used properly, and taken care of, it will give a lifetime of service. The case is very nice, and there are a gracious amount of anvils and other parts to help this unit do its job. There is a learning curve for device like this. And it can take a little time to learn how to properly use it. Especially which add-on device (rod, probe, anvil) to use for a proper reading. But the more you use it, the more you understand it.If you are in the market for a digital bore gauge, I highly recommend this unit.

... that I will use more than a few times in my life, but I have used bore gauges and dial indicators in an automotive capacity before, and to me, this seems like a very nice, quality setup. As stated, I am not a professional machinist, so don't really feel that I can comment with any degree of validity on the quality of this set, so all I can say is that it does not look at all like junk to me, and I am quite satisfied with their acquisition.(Since I have acquired multiple sets of these from Amazon, for multiple firearms, the following is a "cut-and-paste" review, as all the kits are constructed equally, the only differences being the modifications made to fit specific models):... and the question most will probably as is "will this fit my blah blah blah?"The answer: It will fit what is listed that it will fit, and that is it. Period.Having said that, the firearm that it says it will fit, it fits perfectly, as if it was made just for that firearm, which it is. It's not an outrageously expensive setup, and it gives you a combo that you know will work. I like them. For what it is, what it does, and what it costs: Five StarsI am the Totally Unbiased Reviewer Dude (T.U.R.D.) and that is how I see it.

This kit has LOTS of parts, for measuring a large range of bores, 0.7” to 6.0"I will use this to check piston bores for gas engines, air compressors, etc.Although now I have it, I’ll be learning what else I can do with it!The hard case is good, although I'll be putting a sheet of foam in mine to keep parts from jumping out of their holes. For me, the digital indicator is fine, with half thou readings accurate to 1 thou. I think the error just in caliper/setup/measuring is going to be that, so I'm not sure how you'd get more accurate measuring a bore. The parts are machined very nicely. This is good quality kit, for a tiny fraction of what a mainstream brand kit would cost, and a nice addition to my tool chest 😊

The tool comes well presented.Everything seems to be made nicely. The 1 beef i have is in the digital indicators, they have an 8mm stem not the regular .375" like an analog indicator.I wanted to swap the digital .0005" resolution for an analog (non digital, needle on the dial).I have a guage that goes 0-5-0 and it has a resolution of .00001" but i cannot mount it in the handle because the collar where the gauges stem goes thru is only 8mm.I purchased this kit because it came with small anvil set,but my intention was to swap the digital stuff for needle on a dial. The problem with the digital .0005" is say you measure a rod pin on your crank, you lock the spindle on the mic,put the mic in the holder, then ise the mic as a setting fixture. So go through the procedure and 0 your dial bore guage at the smallest point in the mic..then take the bore guage and run it through your rod (which the bearings have been installed and the cap fasteners torqued to the spec called out) so then i take the bore guage with digital indicator and i slide it thru and rock the gauge fore and aft to find the smallest point.I know that my clearance is .0023" but with a digital guage because the resolution is only .0005" the guage reads .002" and if i just breath on it i get a reading of .0025".I borrowed a friends bore guage similar to mine and i purchased an accusize analog guage with the .375" stem,i know from experience that when i set the analog guage which only measures in .0005" resolution and I rin it thru my assembled i part i can see the needle is approx 1/2 between the .002" hash mark on the dial and the .0005" mark between the .002" and the .003,With the digital it jumps from .002"-.0025".its not just this brand it seems all digital dial indicators have an 8mm stem. Not a fan of the digital indicators, but this kit offers so much value thats why i gave it 4 stars. It would have gotten less stars but for the price and the fact it comes with 2 different measuring ranges.

This is a nicely crafted set that will give you results +/- .0005" which is not the highest accuracy for a device of this type. You could replace the digital dial indicator with a unit that had .00001" graduations if you needed more than "standard" accuracy. Personally, I would prefer a traditional analogue dial gauge, but that is a matter of preference. This unit looks remarkably similar to a Mitotoyo series 511 set, but at a fraction of the price! You will need a micrometer to set the unit up to measure your bore, but in pinch you could use a vernier caliper, but don't expect the most accurate results.
