I needed this fine adjustment indicator holder for my Noga magnetic indicator holder for an extremely complicated setup on my lathe. This is the metal fine indicator holder not the cheaper poly one. It is just what I needed and has worked well for its intended purpose. These Noga indicator holders are the finest quality and are the easiest to position and lock down by far !

This new fine adjustment clan has another screw on the side …that is supposed to lock the indicator holder clamp…but it gets in the way of the indicator and limits what position one can put the indicator in the mag base. Don’t like it At all

This is the same as the original clamp that came with the mag base. This is the weak link of a Noga mag base (so only 4 stars) - as a traveling technician, this is the part that always gets messed up in the tool box - the rest of the mag base seems indestructible. However, before my toolbox beats it up, it works great - no better indicator holding system. The clamp on the end, and the knob handles, are plastic.

A very well made clamp providing several clamping modes including dovetail. If you have the need for a micrometer clamp like this then Noga is the way to go, it is of good quality and the price is reasonable. I find the micro-adjust very handy.
