A. Nerdwax is an anti slip eyewear retainer that can easily turn any type of glasses into non slip glasses. Q. IS IT POSSIBLE TO BE ALLERGIC TO NERDWAX?
A. All of the ingredients contained in Nerdwax are approved for cosmetic use. With that being said, as with any product that comes in contact with your skin it is possible to be allergic to one of the ingredients contained in nerdwax. It is always a good idea to spot test a product on the back of your hand or arm first.
WARNING: If you experience an allergic reaction such as redness or itching, discontinue use immediately, clean glasses of all nerdwax, and contact your dermatologist.
DO NOT use if you experience irritations from adhesive products such as Band-Aids or fashion tape.
Q. HOW LONG WILL A SINGLE APPLICATION OF NERDWAX LAST?
A. Nerdwax is worn off naturally by the facial oils produced by your skin. Application times can vary from 1-2 hours to a Full Day depending on how much you apply and what you are doing!

Simply put, this stuff works. It is easy to apply to the nose pads of your glasses from a narrowly designed tube that fits nicely between nose pads. Think lip balm for your glasses that prevents them from sliding on your nose.The instructions say to apply it heavily because you can always wipe it off, but I have found just applying a few strokes to each nose pads works perfectly. I do not know if adding “more†would be helpful, other than it does wear off over time; so applying more is a personal thing you will need to figure out. I’m not sure if adding more, like it says in the instructions will make it last longer or just use up more if it, but at almost $10.00 a tube - the only drawback for me, I do not see using more than is necessary as helpful, but again, you will need to figure out how much works for you.I have not experienced any irritation; so like most products that touch your skin, maybe some people have more sensitive skin or have allergies. This will be case specific by person.Give it a try. If you have well adjusted glasses - which I do: adjusted perfectly to fit by my eye doctor’s office, you can still experience that annoying feeling of slippage on your nose, and for me, this seems to have solved that issue.

I have normal to dry skin so didn’t have to be concerned about oily skin on my nose to interfere with the grip factor. Once applied, it did in fact grip very well for only a couple of hours. I then needed to reapply which is unfortunate since I was out for lunch and didn’t bring the applicator with me. The concept is good but the results aren’t newsworthy. If you aren’t bothered by the inconvenience of constant reapplication, then you might like it. As for me, I won’t buy it again due to short life span.

My daughter recommended this product to me after I mentioned I didn’t wear my new glasses because they wouldn’t stay up on my nose. They don’t need adjusting, it’s the plastic that doesn’t have nose pieces. She told me about this nerd wax and I am genuinely impressed. I wish I had known about it 5 months ago when I got the glasses to begin with. 😊

Nerdwax Glasses Wax, the supposed superhero of slippery glasses. As someone who’s tired of constantly pushing up their specs, I had high hopes for this little wax wonder. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the hype.First off, the concept is solid. A simple wax to keep glasses from sliding down your nose? Sign me up! And the fact that it got the Shark Tank seal of approval? Even better. But when it came down to it, the results just didn’t measure up.I diligently applied the wax as instructed, coating both my nose pads and the bridge of my glasses. But alas, my glasses still kept sliding down my face. It was like I have some superpower that renders the Nerdwax powerless in its wake.I tried adjusting the amount of wax, thinking maybe I was using too little or too much. I experimented with different temperatures, wondering if the wax needed to warm up to its full potential. But no matter what I tried, my glasses remained stubbornly disobedient, slipping and sliding with every move I made.In conclusion, while the idea behind Nerdwax Glasses Wax is commendable, the execution leaves something to be desired. It may work for some, but for those of us with particularly slippery noses or stubborn glasses, it falls short of expectations. It’s a valiant effort, but unfortunately, my quest for slip-free spectacles continues.Rating: 2 out of 5 stars. A noble attempt, but ultimately, it didn’t stick the landing.

I'm really liking this product. It should be common sense but it works best WHEN you make sure your face, ears, and especially your glasses are very clean. I clean my glasses a couple of times a week with dawn (gently) and daily with Zeiss lens wipes, including the entire frame but concentrating on parts that touch my skin. When I'm sure my face is no longer oily or sweaty and my glasses are clean, I apply the wax to nose pads, nose bar and thearc that goes over my ears. This just takes about 5-7 minutes but makes all the difference. It saves me from reaching up to adjust my glasses at least 3 to 4 dozen times a day. Plus since I'm not constantly doing that, my glasses STAY cleaner much longer. I am surprised and pleased, especially since I read several negative reviews after I had already ordered the product. I also use a VERY light touch when applying it. Please try these simple tips before you give up on it !!!

Bis jetzt gefällt mir Nerdwax ganz gut. Verhindert das Rutschen und ist auch leicht von der Brille zu entfernen. Die größte Herausforderung kommt aber erst mit sommerlichen Temperaturen. Bin gespannt, ob es da auch durchhält.

Se acabó lo de que las gafas resbalen. Es un poco engorroso de aplicar pero una vez hecho, perfecto.
