Glad I bought this item to keep my eyeglass readers under control. Was using Croakies but was frustrated they would not stay attached to the eyeglass temple arms. This product works great and my readers stay in place around my neck.

These are the lanyards I’ve been searching for. All previous lanyards I’ve owned either didn’t hold my glasses securely or interfered with my peripheral vision. These take a little time to carefully position them on plastic glasses because they grip so well, but once they are in place they don’t move. I have no concerns about my glasses crashing to the ground because the attachment mechanism on the lanyards couldn’t hold them securely.My spouse was also impressed with the securing mechanism but would prefer that they also be available with jump rings where a fashion lanyard with lobster claw closures could be attached.The length of the lacing straps could be a few inches longer so my glasses don’t hang as high on my chest when I’m not wearing my glasses on my head. This is especially important if you have a larger (pumpkin) head and neck. But for my use the current design with the lacing as it is works very well. Only time will tell how the securing mechanism holds up over time, but for now they are off to a great start.

These eye glass straps are good but they have one flaw in my opinion. The rubber attachment ends are very bulky and not comfortable to wear.

I read reviews that said these were hard to install and that the rubber loops are too stiff but I find them easy to install and trouble-free to wear. Just stretch the loop to expand the channel and then squeeze the earpiece through the loop. While that takes a little force, it's far better than having a loose fit that comes off the earpiece when the glasses are set asideThe cord is also soft and elastic making for a pleasant holder.
