I bought this recently to replace a nearly-identical item that had finally died after about five years of faithful service. This one's doing the same job, just as well. Basically, it's a good way to plug-and-play videos stored on flash drives. It makes for a good "on the go" option. More importantly, it plays some video codecs that other players can't deal with. For example, I use this as a good alternative when the Sony PS4 media player won't play something.Easy-to-use, and small enough that it can have a home on top of my Blu-ray player without being awkwardly out of place. The only real minus to this device (and it's a small one) is that its indicator lights are ridiculously bright. When it's turned off there's a single red light that shines out; when it's turned on, there's an equally bright green light. It's pretty distracting, when you're trying to watch a TV that is directly above the unit. Fortunately, it's also easily handeled. I just slapped a sticker over the spot on the front where the light shines out. Problem solved.Bottom line: the player gets the job done, for a good price.

I needed to loop a video on a TV for a tradeshow, and the NEUMI ATOM 1080P Full-HD Digital Media Player was perfect for the job. It plays back effortlessly from a USB thumb drive and has a very small footprint, making it easy to set up and hide away. The playback quality is excellent, and it handled continuous looping without any issues. The only downside is that it’s not USB powered and requires an AC adapter for power. However, this is a minor inconvenience compared to the overall performance and convenience it offers. I would recommend this unit for anyone needing a reliable media player for presentations or displays.

I bought this little player to play a video for a solo photography exhibition - Quick, small, beautiful output. It will Loop the video with a pause and does not automatically restart if it loses power.

I ordered 2 and one wouldn’t work. A replacement was sent. 3 days later with about 6 hours of use the other o e stopped playing videos. It turns on and allows you to pick source and files but when you get to a video it’s just a blank screen. Was very easy to work and played great videos when it did work. So far replacement is still working but now I need to send the other one back.

I bought this just to use a spare monitor as a big photo frame & for that, it is excellent. Two dings. First, no way to control anything without the remote. No controls whatsoever on the box itself. Second, it will only play 1,000 files per folder and the slideshow cannot span multiple folders. Granted, 1,000 pictures sounds like a lot but if you show 6 per minute, you're talking about a mere three hours before the same pictures start popping up. That feels like something that could be extended with a firmware update but could also be limited by memory, so maybe not.All of that said, no complaints...just suggestions. Considering the reasonable price, I am not disappointed. If you want a simple way to show photos off of a USB drive or SD card, it's hard to beat.----UpdateLooking at their website, I noticed a new firmware was released. It always a good sign to see companies continue to update their products. The process is very straightforward. Format a SD card/USB stick, copy a zip file to it, plug it into the media player & let it go. Took about 10 minutes. My only suggestion would be to have a basic version log on the website to tell anyone interested what was fixed or added in this firmware version. Nothing elaborate or too detailed. But if anyone is interested enough to look for updates, they are probably the kind of people interested in looking at what the updates do.

Works but not well. Better than many of the others. I purchased the original Micca media player and it works very well. You can not get this one anymore so I tried the micca g3 and it does not work well at all.
