Bought this diagnose and tune a 2014 BMW N20.It simply does what its stated its for and that is to plug into the ODBII.I recommend this to anyone looking to unlock/lock the ECU on your F30.Keep in mind you will need an adapter if you plan on pluging this to your android/iphone or PC/Laptop.But you may already be looking or have one on hand for this, so simply disregard.

While this cable is meant for BMW, it worked fine with my Polestar 2. VIDA and Orbit worked with it. My only complaint with this is that the OBD port is too snug. It almost didn't fit, and I just had to make it work.

Coded the pants off my wife's 2015 X5 using a USB-C adapter and BimmerCode, works like a charm after adjusting some settings within Android. Ethernet cable could be longer. Feels substantial. I'd buy it again.
