Works as advertised, easy to mount, and now I can fly my drone within the FAA rules. I mounted it on my DJI Phantom 4 Pro.

The ID module for my drone is very small and compact. It weighs very little and I fastened it to the top of the drone with the provided velcro. Have not flown with it yet but it should be fine. Set up was pretty straight forward if you know all the information it asks for in the app. It charges pretty rapidly. Would recommend it for your drone if it weighs over 250 grams and is mandatory by the FAA.

Works smoothly. Once you pair with phone all you have to do is turn it on when you want to fly.

I got this for FAA compliance for my DIY drones and DJI Mini 2 (used for business). Pairs just fine using the app and instruction included were very clear.Minus one start as the plastic is pretty thick and adds unnecessary weight. (May remove top cover to resolve this; we'll see)FYI: When you register on the FAA web site register the serial number of device, not the serial of your drone (which may not even exist if it is a DIY or a RTF kit)

If you have a drone in the US that's over 250g then its a requirement that that aircraft be identified by a FAA Remote ID. Alot of new drones have this built in but if you have a drone over 250g without an internal RID module then you will need to attach one like this to your drone. The kit provides 3 ways to mount, Velcro, Foam Tape or Little Zip Ties. This device is very easy to setup and clear instructions are included. I've also seen this hardware with different brand names. This is a super light Low profile RID Unit.
