I already made a top and worn it with a very soft french terry knit materiel I found, yes, in Amazon. Had to adjust the angle and length (shorten) of the diagonal to make it suit my height (I am only 5 feet while the model is probably close to 6 feet, 😆).

Great, easy pattern for someone who is relatively new to sewing. In all fairness, I have to say that if you have access to a Walmart, you can get it for $2.97.
