Battery had died and wouldn't charge... bought a new on and drove for a bit and noticed acid coming from the breather of the battery, got out the voltage meter to test and found 18 volts at the alternator... not good, cooking my battery! Bought the new regulater, installed and now steady 14.5 volts as it should be!

Waited over a week for it to get here and spent an hour putting it on the truck. It worked for one crank and quit. Ordered a replacement and five days later it hasn't shipped. Bought one locally from a parts store chain and was up the same day. What good is it to save money if you have to do the job twice?

Installed this and it worked for a couple of days. Not worth the hassle. Thinking about reporting Amazon to the consumer protection agency in my state. Can’t return it due to Amazon’s return policy. Better off not buying car parts from Amazon
