My Samsung washer was giving me an error code involving a draining issue, code 5C. I cleaned the drain filter and checked to see if there was a blockage in the drain tube. Neither of those solved the issue. The issue was that my drain pump had gone out. It was humming and getting power, but not draining during the cycle.This install can be very easy. Turn the washer on its side and there should be an access hole in the bottom (if you have a front load washer). You can access the drain pump motor and housing there. There are also two screws you need to remove right next to the pump filter. On the housing itself there are three screws that hold the motor in place. There are two (maybe more or less for you) black hoses that need to be removed as well. You do not need to remove every hose, you just need some room to work and move the pump housing around. Take some pictures before you start working and while you are working so you know how to put everything back together. Pay attention to orientation and coloring of the wiring, take a picture of that too.All you need is a screwdriver to complete this install. Take your time and believe in yourself.

This pump fit and worked perfectly. When disassembling the old one, pay attention to the orientation of the electrical connections because the pump can be turned to match.

Bought a this new water pump and installed myself . Found a YouTube video Tube video on how to change the pump. All totalI spent 45 minutes uninstalling and reinstalling new pump. The washer works again and for no more than the cost of this pump and about an hour of your time (youΓ’β¬β’ll probably spend less time I am mechanically challenged!Γ’β¬Β

Fit perfect worked perfect. Very easy to install if you tilt the machine back and take it out from underneath. Washing machine itΓ’β¬β’s nice and quiet again and as easy as it is to install and is cheap as it cost, IΓ’β¬β’d feel like itΓ’β¬β’s a good deal even if I had to replace it a couple times. do yourself a favor and tilt the machine back and take a look at how easy it is to remove and install from underneath. First time I ever worked on a washer and I removed and replaced the pump in about 15 minutes or less. All the videos I seen, want you to take half the machine apart itΓ’β¬β’s not necessary to go through all that definitely worth the money

My Nice Samsung Front Loader stopped draining and put an SE code. I went on YouTube and looked for information. This is very commonly caused by the drain pump at the bottom going bad. Sure enough, I took my washer apart and pulled the pump off the housing and there was a hard lump of hair that failed the pump. This new pump went in there perfect! Great Price!. Videos on YouTube explain the replacement fairly well and it looks more difficult than it truly is. I almost bought a new 700 washer!. There are few if any repair people here locally where I live. Even if I got someone out there I am sure it was a 300 dollar repair for a 17 dollar part and 2 hours of my time. You cannot go wrong!

Just before thanksgiving my washer stopped draining. And it kept refilling the water. I called for a service technician and he told I needed to replace my water pump and it would cost me up to $600 for the part and service.I said no thanks. I ordered this part from Amazon. Looked on Youtube and installed the part. My washer is working even better than before!

Use thw pump for just a week. Pump is already damage, pulling high amperage almost damage my circuit board to my washer
