Consistent diameter, color hasn't faded badly in first year of use, fuses well when cut with a hot knife. Supple and easily knotted. Great value for the money. Even Baja desert heat, and UV doesn't seem to have degraded it much at all. In use to anchor a large sun shade and doesn't exhibit excessive stretch.

My wife and love to go hiking, and of course we find ourselves in some challenging spots and have to scramble up some steep rocky terrain. This normally isn't a problem but my wife is scared of heights. That's what this rope is for.Now then let me say we are not using it for actual climbing. Usually I scramble up to the top. I'll have her set up in a hasty seat with a figure 8 and I'll anchor the line to myself and pull slack as she climbs up.Having this as a guideline gives her some extra confidence and lets us get back on the trail.The rope is good material, rated for around 1500 #, 6mm diameter.Super lightweight and easy to carry all day in the pack. Nice bright orange color and will definitely see some serious use this spring on our next vacation.

I looked high and low for the perfect chord for a project I was working on and even though the color wasn't perfect that's not the sellers fault. I couldn't find that specific color anywhere I looked.

I found the NewDoar 6mm High Strengte Cord Rope to be a great light weight rope that I can use for low risk climbing.The thinner rope reduces the weight which reduces the weight of my pack when backpacking.I look forward to using this rope on my next advendure.

The reviews were right, this rope is very stiff, especially for being just 6mm rope. I have another rope from a different brand, and some reviews warned it was stiff but it wasn't so much, so I didn't read too much into the reviews for this rope. They were right, it is stiff.

The rope itself is excellent quality, however I needed reflective cord. This came up in a reflective cord search. It's the appropriate size for kayak perimeter line rigging, however the tracers in it are not reflective as advertised. Will be returning

The climbing rope looks very sturdy, as described, it’s easy to knot and does not slip. The rope has no elasticity and is not easily broken. From my personal point of view, if you want to use it for rescue or climbing, 6mm is not enough to ensure the safety of the rope, you should look for thicker and stronger ones. But if you just want to use it to tie things or as a clothesline, there’s no doubt that it’s absolutely useful and safe.
