I used this to power a single Wyze doorbell camera. I actually installed a metal switch box in the wall where the light switch was at the front door. Then mounted this transformer to it on the inside of the wall. Which I moved all of the insulation away from it. I've been in the wall a couple of times to work on the other switches next to it and have not noticed any high heat. Worked perfect for powering the doorbell camera. Would buy again

It is working with my current bell from the same company, but the voltage I measured from transformer was indicating 24v instead of 16v (that is why I will give 4 stars).

This was exactly what I needed and the price was good. It took a few days to arrive but worth the wait versus paying almost triple for some multi-voltage option (I did not need) from Lowe's.It was easy to install to replace an existing one that went bad after about 40 years. I doubt I will need to replace it in my lifetime, but I would buy again if I needed another especially since it comes from a Small Business and I like to support Small when I can.

Do not buy used from Amazon. Looks like new but the item immediately dead upon connections. Waste of time and very disappointed.

I had replaced one of these door bell transformers years ago, so i figured it was the same issue. They are easy to replace, even w/o much mechanical inclination. Works fine, longevity TBD!

Replaced transformer that came with our house (lasted barely over a year), I am expecting and hoping for longer life with this one. It is easy to install but CAUTION must be used as this connects directly to your 120 Volt AC. In my case, it attached to the side of the power panel box which means you have to get into the area where all the breakers are wired. If you are lucky, yours will be in a electrical outlet box but, in any case, you are working with on 120 Volt AC so be careful. Turn off breakers, use rubber gloves (will provide some insulation) and use only one hand if at all possible. When you use 2 hands and you are electrocuted, the current will in all likelihood pass from one hand through your chest to the other. So again, be cautious!

Fue lo que necesitaba para instalar mi timbre inteligente Arlo comprado en Estados Unidos en mi casa de 110V, estándar en México. Le compré también la campana Newhouse con las especificaciones técnicas compatibles de electricidad, y con la ayuda de un electricista todo funcionó, se encargó de instalar el transformador dentro del centro de carga.Como tip, el timbre tarda varios minutos en prender la primera vez que reactivas la luz de la casa por primera vez.

Funciona muy bien con el ring 2020. Ojalá pudiera ser un poco más chico para que quepa dentro de la chalupa incluyendo cableado ya que si se batalló y al final puse un esquinero para cambiar el ángulo de la cámara y con eso ya no batallé pues tenÃa más espacio.

Ya está instalado y funciona bien hasta ahora. Solo el costo si me parece muy elevado.
