It takes a few seconds to re-establish connectivity post standby and the fan is quite audible, but besides these two minor gotchas, this adapter is awesome.

Wasnt sure about it due to the lack of reviews, but testing with iperf3 shows the expected bandwidth. I wouldnt call the fan "silent", but it's not noisy, about as loud as a laptop fan on full. It doesnt have a fan curve, instead it turn's itself on whenever it hit's 45c, then off again soon after, on an ongoing basis. Seems to use a Marvell AQtion 10Gbit Network Adapter
