All good. Background light vs the original is a little low though. During the day I have to cover it with my hand to see if it's on.

Switch about one week. Then received Brake switch related problem again had to get it fixed. This was a cheap non-OEM part. Would not buy this switch.

Bought this as a replacement parking brake button for my wife's 2008 Volkswagen Passat. The original part stopped consistently releasing the parking brake, making the car unable to move. This seems to have fixed that issue so far.Pretty simple to install and plenty of videos on YouTube. Just take off the driver side fuse box, push the original button out, unplug the connector, plug this one in and push it back in.
