This was very easy to set up and works quite well. Just select from the Bluetooth list and then you're in business. There is no perceptible delay or loss of functionality. The adapter came with two additional cords - a USB A extender and a USB C adapter. My car has a USB A port and I went straight into that so didn't use the cables, but it's nice they were included. The only issue is that I see no way to set up Bluetooth priority if there are multiple divers (i.e., connect to phone 1 if available, else connect to phone 2, or 3, etc.). Still, even without this "feature," the dongle is a quick solution if you want wireless CarPlay.

All I had to do was plug the usb in and select the item from my Bluetooth list and it immediately worked. I was a little worried because the initial notification screen looked a little grainy, but once it’s actually connected the screen and app pages look the exact same as when you are plugged into CarPlay. The Bluetooth delay is practically nonexistent and, after skipping a few songs/ changing the volume a few times you don’t really notice. One thing I really liked was that it came with short cords for usb and usb-c. If your car has the usb port in an awkward area, you can just plug the cord in and still make it work. The only thing I will say is that if you share a car with multiple people and you all connect to the Bluetooth, there weren’t any instructions (at least in the one I received) about setting a device priority list like the one my car’s Bluetooth source option has. Other than that, there really haven’t been any cons!
