Improve The Quality of Fingerprint Reads

Overall it is functional and serves the purpose. Ive had this time clock since mid December. The back up battery in the machine does not function. There is supposed to be a battery in case of power failure but it does not work. I have to keep the machine plugged in at all times. The machine freezes frequently, but unplugging it and plugging it back in resolves that issue. I have yet to get the thumb drive that comes with the machine to work but I am able to email myself the attendance report. The report is not very user friendly and has to be manipulated to calculate time. I have my employees sign and approve their time so I manipulate this data in excel. Missed punches are a pain because it can only be done through the phone app and you can only edit one employee and one punch at a time. You also can only pull time if you are connected to the same wifi network as the machine.Overall set up was not difficult but it all has to be done on the app or the machine. So it takes a while. So far the finger print scanner works. This is a good option for a no fee time clock. But if you want to be able to remotely access data that is not possible and there is no cloud with this machine thus the no fee.

The best part about this time clock is that it’s very easy to setup. We had it out of the box and working very quickly. It’s small, so it’s nice that it doesn’t take up a lot of space. The problem we’ve been having is that the fingerprint reader doesn’t always work the forst or even second time. It does eventually work, but it often takes several tries for it to recognize. A good product that could use a little tweaking to work better.

Ok, it does keep track of employee timestamps. If you buy this be prepared to teach them how to use it since the sensor is finicky and all employees have had to place multiple fingers in order for them to clock in. It sometimes corrupts the usb that comes with the device and also others that you might use. The excel spreadsheet can't be change unless you copy it to a new sheet. Might be more for security reasons but it does get annoying. Having said that, easy setup just a short learning curve and if you have less than 5 employees its worth it.

DeberÃa ser un producto que ayude a optimizar los procesos, sin embargo solo logra hacer el trabajo más tedioso, debe ser conectado a la corriente directa ( si usas un multicontacto no carga) de lo contrario no funciona, no se puede usar mientras se está cargando, para extraer los datos debes estar cerca del checador.Muy mala inversión, no es recomendable además debes estar pendiente de que no se pasme.

Lamentablemente al elegir de este producto para comprarlo es que maneja un App para revisar la informacion en linea pero despues de 3 semanas revisando y esperando poder descargar la App nunca estuvo disponible en la tienda de apps. por lo que el checador no es funciona para nuestros propositos.Al revisar en el appstore nos dimos cuenta que es un problema de meses por lo que no deberian de informar o promocionar que puedes manejar una App como un plus de este producto.

Do not buy this! Had problems with it since day one. App never worked, USB wouldn’t read or download the hours. Unit would randomly stop taking fingerprints, so I added codes for staff members. Then after 45 days, screen went black and is no longer working at all. Waste of money and I feel bad for my staff who now have to write their hours down and we have to go back to the honour system of when they were at work. Not ideal.

I'm a small business owner and currently our staff writes down their start and end time, as well as calculate their hours. I spend about an hour each time to double check numbers and calculations. With this time clock, it's saved quite a bit of time in extra paper work. It was easy to get each staff enrolled and there are no monthly fees for any software since the App that controls this device is free. Here are some of its pros and cons:- Easy to set up and use; easy to download the reports via USB or App- We have 5 employees so there isn't a tonne of files to transfer- Back-up powered so if there's an outage, the data won't be lost- More accurate timeline of when staff check in and out (avoid any dishonesty issues)Cons:- Sometimes staff forget to clock in and out, which creates a problem, especially if they don't remember the time they logged off or on- There is a learning curve to the App and it wasn't very intuitiveOverall, I think this is a good payroll helper to easily keep track of employee hours. I would introduce this system early so that staff get used to the program or else it's really difficult to keep track if staff members keep forgetting to check in and out.
