I think it was very lightweight. I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be scared to mount my Sony Fx6 fully stocked on this shoulder rig. There is no stability due to having only one handle. It felt like I was handling a piece from an erector set.

This is nice idea and good quality components, but it is almost impossible to adjust to a comforable position with the items enclosed in this package. Clearly the larger system is great. It’s just that this particular cluster of parts does not allow a comfortable positioning of video cam. It may just depend where the particular camera buttons are, and each camera is different. I think the company makes great parts, but this exact combination does not fit together well for my cameras. I would think about getting a kit with more parts, but did not want to spend more cash for my immediate need.

I recently got my hands on this camera shoulder mount with an included mounting base and grip, and it has totally transformed my filming experience. Setting it up was straightforward, and the mount feels incredibly sturdy and well-balanced on my shoulder. The included grip provides excellent stability, allowing me to capture smooth, professional-looking shots without any unwanted shaking. The mounting base is a great feature, making it easy to switch between different cameras and angles on the fly. What really impressed me was how comfortable the shoulder mount is, even during long shoots. It's lightweight and the padding feels great, so I didn't experience any strain or discomfort. The design is intuitive, and it has made my filming sessions much more efficient and enjoyable. If you're serious about videography and want to up your game with steady, dynamic shots, I highly recommend this camera shoulder mount. It's a game-changer for both amateur and professional filmmakers!

We have a Panasonic "run and gun" broadcast camera, and a Canon DSLR, and this rig works well for both of those.Easy to put together (even though ours didn't come with instructions), and was ready to shoot in just a couple of minutes. The main plate is large (good for our broadcast camera), and it has tons of mounting points for other parts of your rig. I also like the way the shoulder pad is mounted with Velcro straps which will make it easy to replace or add to.
