What is a CV Boot?

This is a good kit, overall. I ordered two of them, for doing both sides a 2007 Mule 610 KAF400A7F. The second kit I ordered was missing the packet of CV grease, and this was a huge inconvenience.I would give 5 stars if nothing were missing.The kit does include a replacement c-shaped spring clip for retaining the outer joint, and also includes the big washer and wheel nut. I reused my original OEM parts, but these were nice to have on hand in case I found that I needed them. They are not as essential as the CV grease however!You may wish to buy a CV Joint Clamp Banding Tool to make the job easier. It's tricky to get the clamps tight without this tool.There are some good videos on YouTube to follow. This is the first CV boot replacement I have done, and it wasn't too difficult if you're a methodical and detail oriented person.

They will work fine but the oe boots are two different sizes. These are the same size. Fits one side a little tight the other a little loose
