If you're into plating this is a great nickel rod to use as a sacrificial anode/cathode. Sorry having cocktails and at this time I'm not sure which is correct. :)

Perfect for electroplating! I was able to use a higher than usual voltage (19.5 VDC) because the nickel was pure enough. Turned solution a nice green color in 10 minutes flat.

This bar will work to create a nickel plating solution with the proper setup, but clamping to the bar, instead of strips like most DIY setups, was slightly more challenging.
