I previously had used aluminum ones and they bent and were cheap. These are stainless steel and very beefy. Perfect for my application!!! Highly recommended.

I’ve been looking for an affordable and easy way to store my kayak, and I’m pretty happy with this Kayak Storage Rack Wall Hooks. When I first got it, I was a little skeptical, thinking, “Is this really going to hold it up without giving me a surprise on the floor?” But after installing it, I can confidently say it’s been a solid purchase. The rack itself is pretty straightforward to install, but I definitely recommend using a stud finder to make sure you’re not just relying on drywall anchors. It’s simple, but it’s good to make sure you’re putting the screws into something solid because the kayak isn’t light, and you don’t want to risk dropping it. It’s not the most complicated setup, just a few screws here and there, and it holds up pretty well once it's in place. The design is really nice too—nothing fancy, just some well-placed hooks that are padded to prevent any scratches. I was worried the hooks might be too close together, but they fit my kayak just fine. In fact, the space between the hooks is perfect for me since I don’t have a ton of room, and I can still fit it up without it feeling too cramped or awkward. Now, onto the actual holding power of it. At first, I was cautious, as I said before, and tested it with the kayak carefully before leaving it hanging for good. After a few days, I realized this thing can really do the job. I’ve had it up for about a month now, and there hasn’t been any sign of weakness, and I feel like my kayak is securely hanging, which is a relief. That said, I would still recommend double-checking everything when you first hang it just to make sure you’ve done it right, because you don’t want to test its limits too early. One thing I will note is that while the hooks are sturdy enough for most kayaks, if you’re storing something super heavy or extremely bulky, it might start to feel a little less secure. For an average-sized kayak, it’s great, but if you’re dealing with something larger or heavier, I’d look into possibly reinforcing it. For me, it’s perfect. I also love how much space it saves. Before, my kayak just sat on the floor of my garage, taking up precious real estate. But now, it’s neatly stored out of the way, and I actually have room to move around without tripping over it every five seconds. And, honestly, this might be a small thing, but it looks good too. I didn’t want something too flashy or weird-looking, and this just blends into the wall without being distracting. The hooks have a nice finish to them, and they don’t scream “cheap storage solution,” which is nice considering the price. So, as far as helpful tips go: first, make sure you install it into studs, not just drywall (you’ll thank me later). Also, double-check your kayak's weight and size before going all in to make sure it’s the right fit, and lastly, if you’ve got more than one, think about whether they’ll fit together properly without getting in each other’s way. Overall, I’d totally recommend it for anyone looking for a basic, no-frills way to store a kayak without breaking the bank. It’s been great for me, and unless you’ve got a super heavy-duty boat, it should do the job just fine!

These kayak storage hooks are heavy duty and get the job done. The design is classic - simple, yet effective. The angle of the hooks is great for holding/storing a kayak (and a variety of other items). The hooks have soft foam padding which provides some grip as well as a layer of protection for whatever you are hanging. The dimensions shown in the listing description are accurate. The supplied screws and anchors are more substantial than the ones typically provided with products. All in all, they are a great value.

These racks came with simple, yet helpful instructions for install. It's better to mount these to studs if possible, but they did provide drywall retainers if necessary for use. I had hung my kayak from eye hooks and straps in my garage before, so I already knew where to go and was able to mount these to the wall studs. The provided screws are beefy, and the racks themselves are very sturdy. The padding is great, because my kayak is often stored more than it gets used. Great product for the price point!

I'd buy these again. They are heavier weight than I thought. I'm not sure how long they'd last if outside, but mine are just for garage use, so I'm pleased. Easy to install and works as designed. Anchor to a stud, of course. Or whatever suits your design. I'd buy again. Good value.
