This works perfectly for powering four more cameras on my Night Owl system.

Worked great for about 20 months. We started getting lines on the cameras and didn't do anything until it failed.Instead of 12V, only 4.8v.I'm surprised at the short lifespan, which seems to be a pattern with anything Night Owl related.

Needed a replacement for my camera system. Plugged it in, and it works.

reliable up grade to existing power supplies which seem to be taxed at the max output, have had 3 Night OWL power supplies fail to deliver enough power to operate cameras and one failure to power the VCR after 3 months use. I chose power supplies rated for 500 milliamps (1/2 amp) more than original and they provide power enough to avoid failure. It is also nice to be able to share to power by using only 2 or 3 pigtails instead of all 4 to power the system by adding an additional power adapter

Mine didn't work well. It wouldn't power the 4 cameras at once. Not sure what happened here.
