Night Vision Goggles—20× Zoom Binoculars for Adults,4K Infrared Full-Color Binoculars with 4000mAH for Hunting,3.0" Screen Night Vision Binoculars with 64GB TF Card for Photo and VedioAlright folks, if you're considering these night vision goggles, here's the scoop. They work fine in an open field, but if there are trees or bushes nearby, you'll see a lot of reflected light and washed-out images. The visibility range is pretty limited, and they don't magnify as well as traditional binoculars. Holding them perfectly still is key; otherwise, the image quality suffers. The goggles are designed more for recreational use rather than serious scouting or hunting. They shine infrared light and pick up the reflection, so they work best for close-up views, around 20-30 feet. These are not the same night vision technology that the military or law enforcement user. They simply use a "flashlight" of sorts that shines infrared light. This is light that humans cannot see, but a digital camera can. (It's the same tech that makes your TV remote control work, by the way!) The housing looks sleek and modern, but the functionality could use an upgrade. Other models offer similar features at lower price points. As for the night vision quality, don’t expect movie-level performance. It's good for seeing into your yard at night or a dark room, but the image gets grainy and pixelated beyond short distances. Also, the digital zoom is slow, making things even less clear. The display & processor seem to be adapted from a vehicle dashcam. Functional, but low resolution and slow to operate. These goggles aren't very durable, being made entirely of plastic, and the buttons aren't illuminated, which makes using them in the dark extremely difficult. They seem oddly lightweight for the bulkiness of the case. It's sort of an uncanny valley feeling to hold them. The display lacks focus adjustment, so if you don't have perfect vision, you'll need glasses. The controls are incredibly unintuitive. I constantly found myself performing the opposite function of what I was expecting. They come with a 64GB microSD card and capture 36MP photos and 4K videos, but the optical performance is poor. The included microSD card is hot garbage. Most of my card readers would not recognize it at all. The one that did, kept stalling during my read/write testing. This usually means the card has bad memory cells and is failing/near death. In summary, these goggles are decent for fun, short-range night vision but fall short for serious use. You could just get a cheap IR illuminator or flashlight (less than 20 bucks), and get much better results with your smart phone. If you keep your expectations in check and don't plan on high-stakes activities, they might be worth a shot, but certainly not worth the offering price. Just know what you’re getting into.

Super lightweight. Clear picture. Zooms well and night vision is awesome. Very easy to use and holds charge for a long time

the quality of image from this is so bad, very grainy, and gets even worse in 'night vision' mode. Yes, it can 'technically' see in the dark, but the image is so grainy and hard to make anything out, its not really worth it. This would be a fun toy, but not at the price offered, it just is not good quality optics.

Night vision feature does work, we tested it on the dark. But other reviewers mentioned the IR light bouncing off dense trees, and I haven't tested that. You don't put your eyes up close to this unit, because it's a screen, not goggles. But then, the screen is very small, so you can't stand very far away. The image is very "boxed in" with no periphery, so I don't think you could use them to do a hike at night. But the image is not really zoomed, so I don't think this will be good as a spotting scope when trying to check my hits at the range. Also I had an issue trying to get the sling straps attached. I tried much too hard and I was not able to attach the sling. So I can't wear it around my neck. So I can't really carry it with me.For the price, steer clear. This doesn't represent a good value.

For their primary function of seeing at night they work as good as the next set but could use some improvement in the user interface. The pictograms on the function buttons are nearly impossible to read, even in full light. I had to use the light on my phone to make out the shapes. They could make the images white so you could read them. Of course when you're using this at night it won't matter, but when you're learning the buttons and/or reviewing captures images, etc. the pictograms are nearly worthless as they are. One of the NV binoculars I reviewed had backlit AND white function buttons which were wonderful.Another area is the icons on the display screen. They are microscopic and virtually impossible to make out. This set has digital zoom but no optical (mechanical) zoom. Speaking of zoom, zooming in and out requires repeated presses of the in/out button. Holding down the in/out button does nothing. I found this odd and annoying. There's no light or indicator letting you know when the battery is charged. There's nothing in the user guide about this either. Finally, and maybe it's just me, but the images on the screen never really appeared incredibly sharp.

These night vision goggles do a decent job for non-tactical applications like wildlife observation or monitoring your property at night. While they allow you to zoom in and use the integrated IR light to illuminate objects in the dark, don’t expect them to work like military-grade night vision or mount to a helmet. The screen, which is slightly smaller than others in this category, lights up your face—making it unsuitable for stealthy use.I had to format the memory card, which took a couple of tries, but after that, everything worked smoothly. Overall, it’s a solid option for specific, non-tactical uses. Recommended for casual nighttime viewing.
