The connectors are excellent, solid connections. Almost all of these type connectors that you'll find are very light gauge. You'll see them for use with Battery Tender and things like that. These are sometimes available at your local auto parts store, but again, light gauge.I needed to run power to the back of my tractor and needed a high current, universal quick disconnect system for multiple accessories. These fit the bill perfectly. Got an in-line blade type fuse holder from Auto Z that was 12 gauge and could take up to a 30 amp fuse. Ran 10 gauge wires to the back and attached one of these connectors. I've got a 12v Fimco pump on the back pulling water out of a plastic drum and pushing it out through a boom sprayer. The pump needs 11 amps so I can just change the blade fuse to whatever I need. In the future when I need to change accessories I just change the blade fuse, if I need to, and I'm in business. I bought a fist full of these connectors for wiring to future accessories. I'm already planning to rig up a 300 watt inverter with one of these connectors to run a 1/6 HP submersible pump down at the pond when I need to fill up the barrel from there.BTW, in this scenario, I used an in-line fuse holder with 12 ga wires and then ran 10 ga wires for the rest of it. Some of you may be wonder why. The 12 ga wires being the smallest gauge in the circuit are obviously the limiting factor on current. But the reason I ran 10 ga the rest of the way was to get the lowest line loses over the length of the run. However, if I could have gotten the fuse holder in 10 ga I would have.Go with these connectors....you won't regret it.

They should be wired so they can jump a battery from bike to bike plugged them in and keep blowing my battery fuse had to changed the one plug and then worked good I ordered the adapter plug

Just what I needed for the installation of my show car's battery maintainer. Correct gauge wire, and polarity of the plugs at each end are correct as well. Price was very competitive with the similar extension cable offered by the manufacturer of the battery maintainer.

Our RV is ZAMP Solar Ready and I'm using this as a pigtail between the RV and the Solar Panel connector cable to minimize stress on the more expensive cables. Most are aware that the ZAMP connector cable uses the female end of the SAE connector for Positive and the Male end for Negative which seems like a great idea to mitigate a short to ground if the cable contacts metal; however, this is the opposite of other system's polarity. If you use the proper end of this cable to connect to the ZAMP cable then the RED will signify Positive and the Black, Negative; however, if you switch the ends then the polarity is backwards and would result in bad things if you connect to the ZAMP RV connector. To mitigate this potential disaster, I wrapped Orange Duct tape around the correct pigtail end that would connect to the ZAMP cable and then added the same Orange duct tape to the ZAMP cable ends to avoid confusion. Bottomline: this Quick Disconnect Harness is the proper gauge and will work with ZAMP Solar Panels. I'd recommend using a volt meter on the RV connector and this harness to convince yourself and identify the proper ends to connect to the RV and ZAMP cable.

I like this wiring system for trickle charging batteries. Battery connection and polarity adapters are readily available too.
