Very snug fit between connectors, no issues with the electrical contacts once clicked in. The crimp/heat activated butt connectors were also great!

Purchased to build a new lift pump wiring harness w/ added a relay to help my ECM out a bit on my 2nd gen Dodge Ram w/ Cummins. Looks just as good as the original OEM connectors and fit well with my 25 year old factory connectors. Good value and a waterproof tight connection. The included shrink tubing butt connectors were a nice touch.

Nice Deutsch connectors, but while the wires are imprinted 14AWG, I couldn't get a good crimp in the blue splice connectors that were provided. This was using a nice ratchet style crimping tool. Compounded by the fact that my connections were to 18AWG wire, I finally gave up on the blue connectors and used some red ones that I had in a kit. The supposed 14AWG wire fit in those fine and after doubling over the 18AWG I was able to get a nice strong splice on both sides. I'm glad I had the splice connector kit on hand. I would say the wire pigtails on these Deutsch connectors are 16AWG.

I'm using these on a boat where they are exposed to weather and UV, and they have held up well over 2 seasons. They make for a nice quick-disconnect vs. exposed contacts. My only advice is spend the money on heat shrink waterproof wire connectors and a good crimping tool when you wire these in or there's no point in having a plug system this waterproof.

I feel like I am always wanting breakaway pigtails that allow for the simple removal of custom wiring. The fit the bill, these are cheap, quality fit.I used this to create a connection I might eventually remove, reducting voltage with bridge rectifier diodes. I was able to remove this loop and attach it to itself without picking up the solder iron a second time.

The individual wires are very stiff and thick not the thousands of tiny thin wires that fray and break easily. This is like factory wiring you would find in a car. My cat equipment uses a lot of Deutsch connectors so will definitely be buying these again in the future. Makes it so much easier than building your own. I use those new solder/heat shrink, no crimp connectors that you hit with a heat gun until it melts the solder ring, then another layer of heat shrink.
