PERFECT TIMEKEEPING
The modern movement provides excellent clock accuracy. The dial has Roman numerals just like the famous Black Forest clocks. Large and contrast numbers are easy to read.
ADJUSTABLE SOUND
You can adjust the volume with the switch on the side panel. If you need silence or get tired of the cuckoo, you can mute the sound.

The quartz movement is powered by 2 D-size batteries and does not require winding (batteries are not included).

It's Huge! There is alot of pretty color on it.It is mostly made out of well milled smooth non-porous wood. The face/hands do not look like plastic, which is nice. They look like real wood, being roughened and with an attractive matte finish.It has two independent sets of revolving dancers and a revolving river mill wheel. The three all move following the bird's appearance and hourly calls. The bird is yellow and its wings flap.Good sound for "cuckoo" although there is a noticeable ECHO for each call that sounds too much to me like two calls per hour. The bird sounds "normal" otherwise. *While the bird is calling you hear running water in the background.*The dancers' music does sound a bit too "electronic" for my tastes, the only drawback the product perhaps (might) have. It plays many different tunes for the dancers/wheel turnings. The tunes are so numerous that you are always surprised.About thirty dollars *less than the best-selling Kendal models, which are neither as whimsical or colorful, IMO.It automatically turns off at night. Mine first sounds at 8 AM and stops at 8 PM based on sunlight from a nearby window (summertime, Central Standard Time, USA). There is a normal and low volume setting to select.

I have been wanting a cuckoo clock for a very long time and I am so glad that I chose this one. The product is absolutely wonderful. It’s made very well the cuckoo it self sounds gorgeous and all the moving parts are delightful. The music is so mystical, great price good product

Years ago we lived in Germany so wanted acoo coo clock. I couldn't afford a $1000 or more. So settled for what was advertised as a swiss clock. The tiny little 1" "angel" are plastic, poorly painted & spin rapidly..not with the Rhythm of the music. The bride & groom are the same. We paid about $200 But in keeping with the standard poor quality that comes out of China if I kept it I would be grieving in a month or two from now.

The clock is beautiful and the clock is bigger than i expected. It works right away after my hubby put the batteries in. I was expecting that the batteries will be included in the box when they shipped it but I guess not. But overall I loved my clock.

The directions sent with the clock were a joke. My second grade students could have done a better job. Use the directions on Amazon. Once you get past that the clock is nice.
