I'm reimagining my upstairs home office for more comfort and to allow an occasional guest to sleep in it. After a LOT of searching and recommendation from a relative, I chose this Nirvana model in its full size. It comes complete (the mattress comes separately a couple days after the frame) and is not too bad to assemble. The instructions are reasonably comprehensible. I put the thing together by myself, but it would have been easier with the recommended two people. The result is sturdy, very nice looking, and super comfortable! The frame is from Indonesia and the mattress is made-in-USA. The wood and finish is durable and shows no scuffs after my inexpert assembly process. Happy.

The boxes started to arrive a week before the delivery date. Box 1 was the back, seat, and supports. Box 2 was the arms & instructions. Box 3, the mattress. Being the impatient women that I am I wasn't waiting for help. I found it easier to build the seat, and back vertical against the wall. It will take two people to install the seat/back to the frame. It's very sturdy, and the mattress is very comfortable. Remember not to tighten the bolts that connect the supports to the arms until the back/seat is in the slots. It's a very nice looking piece of furniture, and very comfortable to sleep on. Very happy with my purchase.

Had a dent in the arm that looked like it occurred during shipping. Also, one of the short legs had a metal piece set a little crooked. I requested replacement parts and heard back within less than *two hours* that they would send the parts the same day they received my message. That's great customer service and a company that cares.As for everything else, the instructions aren't difficult to follow, the frame is solid and sturdy, the mattress is comfortable, and it looks great. I was looking for something I could fold up out of the way for my office, but also be available for when my nephews visit. This is perfect.

The futon ships in three different packages, one for the mattress, one for the arms, and one for the seat and back deck. It took about 2 hours to build. I do want to point out that it is important to build the seat deck properly because it is easy to mess that part up since it's the most complex. Overall the futon is great, aside from the bed position, it also has two seating positions.The mattress is comfortable, but it is possible to feel a slight flatness through the mattress when laying in the bed position, but I am 220lbs so this may not be a problem for a lighter person.Overall this futon is very sturdy and comfy. I am pleased with my purchase! 5/5

Review questions were solely based on frame since questions don’t distinguish two separate items! Frame good.Mattress HIGHLY TOXIC (moldy smell that affects sinuses). Not sure what they process/clean cotton in, but it’s bad after having in separate room 2 days under ionizer, 4 days in fresh air ventilated room, brought inside 2 days and it’s back out in ventilated room for 2 more days until company can address! CAN’T USE, but want to keep frame!!! 1 month later and 3rd party Company and Amazon not addressing return credit for mattress only. Very dissatisfied!!!

I bought this to use as our main couch in the family room, where we spend time with our three dogs. I picked this because I thought it would be big enough for two adults, and at least two of the three dogs, and it is wide enough. The problem is the deep "V" that is the seat. It is incredibly uncomfortable to sit on long term, and I can feel the bottom flexing even when my 50lb dog jumps up, let alone when my 250lb husband carefully sits down. This wouldn’t have lasted a week back when I had teenagers at home.I opened it up to sleep on for one night, and while it does make a queen size bed, the mattress reminded me of the old futons of my childhood in the '80's. I am also unable to fold it back into a couch on my own; it takes two people, one on each side of the couch and even then it's incredibly difficult and involves bracing with my feet to keep it from moving while trying to fold the back up and the bottom in, and get both sides latched in the divots in correct position so it doesn't fall down flat with a slight bump.I wish I could return this and get my money back. Thankfully I’m decent with building things from wood, and I will be deconstructing this, and making the seat part flat, so that my knees aren’t in my chest, and my dogs can lay on it without tumbling into the “V†of the seat mashing each other or the humans in the house. I had hoped to buy a finished piece of furniture, and not have something that looks like it was built in the garage but I wasted $700 on this, and will have to live with it for the next several years.

This set comes in two boxes for the frame. The mattress ships separately. This kind of annoying since I do not have my mattress yet and I want to sit on the couch. The mattress will arrive in three days so I will just be patient.The frame required assembly. Rarely have I encountered a kit that assembled so easily. The directions were unbelievably clear and there are colored disks everywhere to help insure that pieces are installed correctly. Every piece of the frame fit perfectly, all the screws and hardware bits were in the box. It took about 2.5 hours to assemble because there were just a lot of things to attach to other things and I goofed off frequently. I did this by myself but two people would make final assembly easier because the frame has a bit of weight to it.I may update this review once the mattress arrives.
