Big fan of this hood! It matches my silver x100s perfectly. It’s low profile but still fits a filter under it great so now I don’t need to keep track of a cap.

Fits perfect. Matches color. The lens cap goes on, no problem. Doesn't interfere with the camera case and allows it to be closed.

Spending $1600 on a camera like the X100VI, you want to protect it from the elements as best as you can, while also not being afraid to use your camera. According to Fujifilm, their solution to weather seal the X100VI was to buy 2 additional accessories. The AR-X100 adapter ring (~$48) and the PRF-49 UV filter (~$49). That is almost another $100 extra. While looking for what others have done, this Nisi NC UV filter popped up in a video. Nisi is well known and has been in the filter business for a long time. The fact that this filter is all in one piece works better for me at $39. I don't plan on ever removing it unless there is a reason to. I also liked that the filter info and branding is not printed on the exterior of the filter. It is hidden behind. That definitely keeps the clean look of the filter and camera. Another plus is the original lens cap fits firmly just like it did without the filter. One negative is as with all filters there will be some kind of glare when shooting at direct light at certain angles, you'll have to learn to work with it.

I love it. It looks amazing on my fujifilm x100vi. Bought this to help make the camera water sealed. Although I have not try to expose my camera to the water yet. But I’m pretty confidence with it. At least I can take picture under light rain. Price is reasonable. I am able to use the original lens cap on it. I ordered a black one, it looks pretty nice on both my black and silver fujifilm x100vi.

You bought the X100VI for portability. You prefer the original metal lens cap. Maybe you bought a leather case. So why put something on the lens that makes the camera bigger, doesn’t fit the cap, and won’t work with your case?If you have the same concerns that I did, this is the filter for you

I tried the official Fuji adapter ring combined with a Sigma filter, but it really threw off the aesthetics of the camera and made it so the original lens cap no longer worked. I feel this is the best solution when it comes to preserving the functionality and aesthetic of the X100VI. This has very nice quality glass and have been happy with the purchase so far.

Mi sento decisamente di consigliare il filtro sopratutto a chi vuole mantenere entro un certo limite l’ingombro della macchina. Per avere linee pulite e decisamente il filtro che fa al caso vostro, io lo utilizzo con la custodia originale della Fuji, anche il tappo originale ovviamente si adatta. Anche se il prezzo può risultare alto e decisamente un filtro che mi sento di raccomandare. Non lascia spazi tra obiettivo e filtro

Great build quality and looks a lot better than the official adapter and filter. A bonus is that it is also more compact.
