If you own a Fuji x100 series cameras then you probably already know that you need some sort of adapter to use filters. This one solves the issue and also protects from dust particles.This Neewer UV filter is an elegant solution as it offers the following:- Threads on directly and provides a seal from dust particles- High quality UV glass with minimal color shift- There's anti-reflective material along the inside edgeSeveral years back I ordered a different filter adapter / hood for my x100, but due to it being somewhat delicate and sticking out too much of the front, I rarely used it. With this adapter you can simply install and keep on at all times as it does not protrude much. I prefer this design over the adapter / hood type.Good quality and better than expected as the fit is excellent, solid thread contact with no play. The coated UV glass is as good or better as competitors plain filter offerings at this price point.NOTE if you plan on using the lens cap:The filter is a bit thick on the edges and the stock lens cap (at least with the original x100) does not fit over it. I already knew this and am Ok with the design as I simply plan on leaving this filter on all times as it also seals from dust and protects the lens just like the cap does.

I have filters on all my camera lenses. I'm aware of the arguments but I'm clumsy and have broken a couple of filters and saved my lenses. So even for these small pocketable cameras (Leia Q, Ricoh GR, Pentax MX-1) I like to buy filters for the cameras because I drop the smaller ones even more. The problem with the Fuji x100 series is that the filter threads reside on the outside of the lens (on the exterior) rather than the interior ring like a normal lens. So you are forced to buy an adapter to get a regular filter to fit. Well, Neewer solves the problem by creating this filter that has an adapter attached with the threads that screw on the outside of the Fuji lens, and problem solved. IT is one piece, the filter glass and the screw ring, so it is quite convenient. The only thing is, you can't use the hood at the same time. I used to be a big fan of hoods too, but as I've gotten older, I find I don't need them so much anymore. Maybe I'm just getting better at controlling lens flare. IDK, but this has certainly made my Fuji x100v life much easier and more compact. Thanks Neewer!

I got this to protect the lens on my x100F, and it fits great, but it is black and I ended up getting another that is silver to match my camera's color pattern. In any case, they are both the same and have plenty of protection and don't make the camera look strange at all.

I was excited to try the NEEWER UV Protection Filter for X100 Series Cameras on my X100T. Once I unscrewed the ring that hides the threads on the lens, I screwed this unit on. The problem was when I tried to put my lens cap over it. It just wouldn't go on without a lot of force and I was afraid it would rip the felt out of the inside of the cap. I was so looking forward to using this and I will put it on if I go into dusty or wet environments, but I have to take it off so I can put my lens cap back on.

I got this to protect my lens. I read about some of these affecting the photo quality, but I notice zero difference with and without this over my lens. The quality also seems really great and it fit my Fujifilm x100V perfectly.

It fits my X100v perfectly and looks great and the original lens cap fits snuggly over this just the way one would want it to. I bought it primarily to complete the weather seal the X100v and it looks like it would accomplish that task. Can't test the optics as I don't have a lab but see no problem at all so far and would recommend.
