Bought for hermit crab tank and it's works great. the suction cups work great though they are very large. Our crab seems to like climbing this and he even hangs on the suction cups, at one point even tucked a leg beneath one and it did not pop off. Note that it's pretty large and can be a challenge to place in a smaller tank environment....but can be done. So far no complaints.

Nay sayers will make ridiculous claims like "Your beardie's nails will get caught and he'll lose a toe" or "it BREEDS bacteria and will make him SICK!"First of all, you need to be trimming your beardie's nails. If they are too long, yes, they will get stuck. But they shouldn't be. Secondly, your beardie should be of ADULT (not juvenile or sub-adult) age while using these kinds of hammocks. Until they reach that age, they should use the green ones from, I believe, Zoo Med, because they can get their small feet and toes stuck.Thirdly, the whole "it breeds bacteria" thing is a scare tactic; everything breeds bacteria! If you are NOT cleaning your beardie's enclosure, you're the problem, not the hammock. And the only reason that bad bacteria would cause your beardie to be sick is if you DON'T clean its tank. If his tank is bioactive, that's one thing. The CUC will take care of poop and anything on the floor. But the CUC won't be cleaning his hammock lol that's your job as the owner.Here's what I do: Isopropyl alcohol is safe if used correctly. And no, you can't just spray a cleaning agent onto something and expect it to clean it. There needs to be scrubbing involved, some sort of abrasion for cleaning to happen. If you mix about 20-30% isopropyl alcohol with clean water and scrub it with a tooth brush or a loofa (make sure to replace the loofa every couple of months), and let it COMPLETELY dry before putting it back into the tank, it'll get clean. If you do this with vinegar and water, it'll get clean. If you use hot water, even better. If you bake it or any just washed wood afterwards at 200 degrees F for a couple hours, even better.This hammock is great and my beardie loves it. But it takes effort to own a beardie, and if you're not ready for that money or commitment, forget about it. Don't get the lizard and definitely don't get an animal you haven't researched.

I’m giving this a three only because I thought it would be smaller however it may be my fault because I do only have a 40 gallon tank and this does not fit in that small I would take

Les ventouse sont relativement grosse tienne très bien. Une bonne longueur de fils est fourni a par pour pouvoir également le mettre style "balence". A vous de l installer soit par ficelle soit par ventouse.

My dragon seems to love it, he climbed straight on it and got comfy, get command strips and hooks because the suction cups don’t work in wooden vivariums

I used it for my hermit crabs, and the first night, one of them was climbing on it!! The hermit crabs love it and so do i! It is pretty well made, it is woven grass stuff. No smell, good quality, and the suction cups work pretty good. Satisfied.
