Overall I like the cage and it fits well with one exception. When you put the filter ring on the front of it is tightened all the way the Ace won’t actually go all the way into the cage and you can’t close the door all the way. You have to loosen the mounting screws so it can go all the way in. It also works the same in reverse. If the screws are tight when you open the door the camera won’t be able to be removed. You have to loosen the screws to get enough slack on the filter bracket so the lens will clear it and then you can remove the camera. For me this is minor and not a big deal except to make sure I don’t loose the Allen wrench for the screws!

Absolutely love the cage. Fantastic. While I haven't done any drop texts, I feel this would protect the sides of the camera pretty darn good. The rear screen is another story, however, and remains unprotected by the case, especially if it is flipped up, so a screen protector for the glass is also recommended in addition to this cage.THE ONLY DOWNSIDE FOR ME: The fact that in order to install a 52mm lens, you have to semi-permanently install two hex screws to the frame to hold the threaded lens base in place, which prevents you from quickly being able to remove the camera from the cage, rending the quick release utterly useless, IF the threaded lens base is installed. I hope to see future versions with both a quick release for the camera cage, AS WELL for a the threaded lens base, too.

Works for me. My insta360 ace pro works just fine with this cage. Allows me to use different mount without issues. Plenty of room unlike other cages which doesn't offer enough room for magnetic mounts. Filter lens is good but don't need it for my needs. Price is in the good range as well.

It fits well, and the built-in filter mount is great. Since you cannot easily replace the front glass on the Instra360 Ace Pro, it's better to keep a diopter for closer focus or a clear filter to protect the front glass.

attenzione a stringere. le due viti che reggono l'adattatore filtri 52mm sono molto tenere: stringendole con la chiave a brugola in dotazione si rovinano facilmente. si incastano in sede e non si riescono più svitare - girano a vuoto - e la sede della testa della vite non tiene più la brugola. così il portafiltri non si smonta più e la gabbia non è più rimuovibile.

Very nice cage, I definitely thought there would be some sort of glass to protect the lens but there isn't and I can't use my wind microphone as it doesn't fit with the lens guard.
