The teeth are very ineffective, meaning pistachio doesn’t stay in place. Someone else wrote it just shoots out across the room! Total waste of money!

I bought these because from the description they worked on pistachio nuts. However the device doesn’t even hold them. They keep sliding through. Definitely would not recommend them. I’ll keep looking.

Very loose, doesn’t grab pistachios well they slip out. Not worth purchasing.

I bought this for my husband to hopefully more easily get to small seed kernels - it is very difficult to keep seeds in place to crack, unfortunately - especially if they're round.

it was very awkward to hold while trying to keep the pistachio nut from flying off. Tried different ways to secure the nut in the middle but it wouldn’t hold.

I bought this to open pistachios that had no cracked or opened shell. Unwieldy. This broke after a few uses as I was trying to open a pistachio shell.To my delight I saw I was within the return window and elected to return this broken item. I put it into a small zip lock bag. That is the last time I remember seeing it. Subsequent days as I searched for the zip lock bag I discovered the original plastic bag it came in. I figure at some point I will stumble across it but as for now I am out the money and don't have use of this nut cracker. Nut cracker might be a bit of a stretch to describe this device.
