This worked and I was able to replace my SOP memory without issue. The temp recommended was to low to reflow. 183C/360F didn't work. I had to move the temp to just over 287C/550F and it worked flawlessly. It could probably been done a bit cooler but I was impatient and wanted this completed to ship to a friend.

Good stuff. At least for what I used it for..smd's, smd LEDs, etc..on copper and aluminum substrates.. super strong weld and melts way before the heat is to a point that an LED couldn't take it anymore.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I needed to replace a USB-C port charging connector on a Snap-On flashlight. You do not need much and the fact that it is tin/lead. I also used Kester flux prior to laying a tiny bead of paste. I keep the paste in the freezer. It worked and I cleaned it off with IPA. Snap-On wanted $85 to exchange the flashlight with a repaired one. So far, the port still works well. I would buy it again or recommend it as a cost effective tin/lead paste.

Had to replace some surface mounted pre-amps in an expensive audio mixer. The spec said they could not go over 230^C so the safe answer is to use a controlled temp hot air solder station, this flux/solder rated for 183^C (or roughly 400^F) worked beautifully !!! I am sold!

Excellently made, several applicator tips provided. The application of solder paste to PCB pads is easy. However, due to the viscosity of the paste, sometimes it did not stick easily to the pads. Still, the past was just right for hand component placement keeping the component in position while hit with hot air to reflow the solder. Melt temperature was a bit higher than I expected and significantly higher than the label (I did not quantitatively measure the actual melt temperature on the PCB). No minuses with this product.

I have not yet used it, but I’m sure it will work well.

Melting temperature is higher than what is advertised.
