How can you go wrong with a product that’s priced well, super easy to install and does exactly what it’s supposed to do? I bought this for my enclosed trailer mainly to run a Battery Tender for either my Spyder or John Deere mower and it’s the perfect way to get power into your trailer. Drill one hole then attach it with the three self-tapping screws and you’re done! So easy that instructions aren’t necessary. While it’s probably quite water resistant, I installed mine in the floor of my trailer instead of a wall so it’s well protected from rain, snow, etc. I rarely take my trailer anywhere but the rubber grommet/plug should be more than adequate at keeping things dry if I take it on the road.

I bought this a couple years ago or more and put it on my small cargo trailer that I use for camping. I drilled a hole in the side of the trailer and it fits nice from the outside but on the inside I had to fill a gap with caulk by the cord. I’m sure they make other inlet sockets that maybe have a different set up for the inside but I liked the quality of this one and the two plug in ports. I used colored caulk to match my inside wall so it looks decent. I use it for such things as a small fan, vacuum cleaner, recharging phones and such, a large LED light fixture on my ceiling and a low watt heater. Works great for this set up. Holding up well with no visual wear and tear on it yet. Good product!

Added this to my mobile chicken coop to connect power to it. Works very well and has a good seal when not in use.

It would be nice to have an interior faceplate included. Added this to my RV. Looks nice on the outside but leaves me with an interior 2 inch hole in my wall. I’ll figure some way to cover it but I shouldn’t have to.

Robust product but- Engineering : mounted on a vertical wall, the water from the drain hole , if cap doesn't do its job, will drip inside your wall... Hum !- Packaging : Why do such robust product needs that much of packaging layers... This manufacturer doesn't take into account the survival of our planet... Only its profits and the image of the product on the shelf... So sad.
