We purchased this for our library. It is perfect for our need! The ability to program the noise level, the counter, and all the other features make this very useful! It is a little costly, but is working well for us.

In my class the noise level was always so loud. After having this in the room the kiddos see how loud they are and have adjusted.

I really like mine. I am an art teacher. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is bc I see two "minor" flaws with the product.1.) many reviews are correct in stating that it is too sensitive at one setting and not sensitive enough at another. 50 decibels is the lowest setting. This is about the noise level of a library. 60 decibels is the next setting and 70 the next. I have to keep it set at 70 decibels bc 60 is far too sensitive but at 70 decibels it doesn't seem to be sensitive enough so it still ends up getting pretty noisy in my classroom.2.) the alarm is great (I have not used the voice setting) but if it gets loud enough in the room the volume of the alarm is not loud enough. I have only had that problem once so far though in the month that I have owned it.All in all I am really happy I have this product. It's pretty pricey and cheaply made but works decently. It's honestly helped me a lot so far. Just make sure you have clear rules about it to your students bc they WILL try to set it off on purpose to be silly and play around.

This stop light is exactly what I was looking for. I teach k - 6 and I can adjust the green level to fit each grade. The siren could be a little louder but its still great. My one complaint is that the buttons stick making it difficult to turn on and off. Hoping this does not get worse.

We bought this for a friend whose elementary school aged children were severely allergic to the word “No†and to tasks such as putting up toys, getting dressed, or going to bed on time – especially if guests were present. The children's “allergic reaction†symptoms included yelling, wailing, and temper tantrums. The Yacker Tracker can be set to go off at levels ranging from complete silence to “television in background†levels. It also counts the number of violations. It also says “Quiet, Please!†in multiple languages if noise levels are exceeded. It worked almost instantly to reduce and eliminate their “allergic reactions.†At first, the children tried to trigger it on purpose. After loosing privileges and rewards if the Yacker Tracker went off, this ended quickly. Highly recommended for this purpose!

Not a single thing about this product is anything less than cheap overseas junk. As it stands I wouldn't say it is worth more than $19.95 retail and probably cost $2.95 to make. The cardboard box is thin, the paperwork was written by an ESL student, the black plastic housing wouldn't make the cut to be used for a toy doll house sold at the flea market, every bit a piece of garbage. The db sensing increments available 50, 60, 70, etc.; way too large of jumps on the low end to be of use. The computing is so weak it will take up to 3 seconds to respond to a noise. There is no digital display to show what the actual current noise level is. It is more of an annoyance than a aid. Download a free or $0.99 Sound Level Meter app for your smartphone and you have something 1,000,000 times better.
