The most notable feature of this 8" crepe pan is its small size. It's not a full-size crepe pan, which should be at least 10". However, after making crepes for the first time, we're not so sure that's a bad thing. The smaller 8" pan proved a lot more manageable, particularly for the inexperienced or occasional crepe maker. It can be challenging to get the temperature right, drop batter evenly on the surface, turn, and remove a crepe without disaster. The smaller size might be the way to go, but a 10" crepe pan is available for just a few extra dollars.The pan is solid and stable, easy to work with, and makes a nice-looking crepe. The non-stick coating functioned appropriately, and the finished product comes large enough to fill with generous quantities of toppings. Still, I recommend getting the 8" model only for sweet crepes because while I think this makes an excellent snack, it appears on the small side if served as a savory main dish.The pan could be used for anything that doesn't require a larger edge, but we don't plan to use this for cooking more than tortillas, crepes, and the like due to concerns about keeping the non-stick coating intact.

First off this pan is fantastic for crepes. The wood mallet was almost impossible to put together and took some super human strength. This pan had such a great design. The handle can be removed and put back on with a simple click, just like that it will lock and unlock. It was the easiest and smartest design. The design is amazing for storage and they need to make all pots and pans like this!
