Last month, we turned our garage into a personal gym. TV, mirror, fan and motivation quotes on the wall, and these mats on the ground. My brother had recommended some horse mats for heavier equipment and heavy weights, but that's not what we were going for. My wife & I do 21 Day Fix, which doesn't include a lot of heavy dumbells.These mats have been perfect for us. It took a few weeks for shipping, but once they arrived it was easy to put together and they've been great since. I purchases some mat wipes for after the sweaty workout. But either way, it's comfortable on the feet and the ground exercises.

They give a nice padding. Being able to cut them to fit the area is nice, but because they are spongy, the are difficult to get a straight clean cut. I’ve used them in closets, workshops, and sheds and they make cleaning up very easy. My feet are 80 years old, and hard floors don’t feel good with bare feet, but these are very comfortable. Very easy to put down and can be taken up and put down quickly. Have bought them for different purposes a number of times

To our surprise you have the option of making it gray and black checked or just gray or just black. Easy to put together and the best quality item. Reasonably priced.

These are good looking and thick soft foam exercise mat tiles. I got the thicker size and am really happy with them but there were some minor annoyances. First off they aren’t really 24†tiles. More like 22†when you measure from the inside of the tile edge to edge and don’t count the trim. Yes technically you can measure a corner or edge tile with the border pieces attached from the farthest outside tab to the out side of the edge trim as 24†. However when you interlock the tiles there is about an inch of overlap and most of your tiles will not be used as edge or corner tiles and so you will have removed the edge trim. The result is that the 144 sq feet of mat that I purchased is about 5 inches short on all sides. The red carpet in my photo is a 12’ x 12’ 144 sq ft area. Not that big of a deal but if you are trying to cover a specific square footage it’s worth keeping in mind.The red color looks Bright Red in a digital photo or on a computer or phone screen but in real life, to me at least , it seemed much lighter , almost pink looking so I ended up using mostly the black side up.The other thing is that, I assume due to the reversible design, there are actually different ways to rotate and connect the tiles and it’s possible to end up with edges that don’t line up without random notches in the edge. It was driving me nuts until I realized that the trim edge pieces are scored so that they can be torn to form different shapes. You also have plenty of extra edge pieces but it was still like working on a giant jigsaw puzzle at times. Compared to other tiles it took me two hours to put these together and get all the edges right which was surprising. It’s only worth it I think if you really need reverse-able tiles with a different color on each side.That said I’m really happy with the final result and the tiles are cushy , provide decent traction and are pleasing to stand on. They stay together well and don’t slide around etc. They seem well made and look nice.

Instead of a yoga mat, the larger area expanded my stretching area. The cushioning is perfect for strenthening exercises too.I took a little studying to figure how to make it square, but in 30 minutes I was done.

The flooring looks and works exactly as expected, there’s no issue. But I ordered the kit with 40 tiles and received two boxes with 16 pcs….?
