My first one came completely broken but the seller was quick to send a replacement. This is a gift so I'm not sure how it works yet but it looks nice and all the parts seem well made.

I love that this jug is glass. However, I bought it for water usage along with a water dispenser to place on the jug mouth, but it didn’t fit so I returned it. Great jug for an alternative to plastic for storing water.

For 13 bucks it's great. Everything else you can get at the grocery store to start brewing. Other people had issues with the rubber stopper(bung) but mine was perfectly fine. The airlock is a little different where the yellow cap on the airlock you see in the picture doesn't have holes on top. Very lightly or just placing the cap on top should be fine and perhaps superior because the cap will only lift when gas is escaping during fermentation making it even hard for things like small bugs or files to get in.

I wanted to get my start on making my first batch of mead and this was the perfect package deal. Worked perfectly for my mixed berry mead. Going to have to get a few more and get multiple batches going at same time. The one gallon size is perfect for trying out different small batch recipes.
