Great product! Easy to use and works great with the bernzomatic bottle straight from the hardware store. Took the advice of another reviewer and I boil the wand instead of sanitizer so as not to clog the finer micron holes. Fast and free shipping, a little high price for what it is, but, it is very efficient and as long as it holds up over time, it will be worth the $57.

Great kit to use with disposable 02 bottles com hardware store. I like that this has the small micron filter (do not touch it with your hands or the oil could clog it) . I've used this on about 10 5 gallon batches so and am still on my first disposable bottle. Shipping was fast, and the kit was cheaper here than other online homebrewing retailers.

Great Idea Problem It works great The canister you buyOxygen from hardware store is only good for 60 seconds so it cost you 10.00 $ for Oxygenation your beer and the valve will not fit ANY other tank You have to have a regulator for Oxygen tank for a larger tank from NOCRO Think about it You pay $ 45 for Beer Kit then pay for Yeast Then pay to active YEAST with Oxygen $10.00 What a waste Iam buying a tank Regulator and Oxy. for something that will work for 100 to 200 gal of beer DONT WAST YOUR MONEY its the oxy tank at the hard ware soore that IS LAME good luck Bobanero Brew Idaho

This item came just in time for brew day. I was worried because the delivery window was between the 2nd and the 12th. This came on the 2nd! I went to the hardware store and picked up some oxygen and when it was time to aerate my wort it was easy to set up. I sterilized the wand and tubing, put it in my carboy, turned it on and it bubbled up from bottom to the top. I pitched my yeast around 5pm. By 8pm I saw a couple bubbles, by the next morning it was bubbling like crazy!! I am very glad that i used a blow off tube on my primary! A couple things 1. My oxygen cannister told me how to thread it (thread to the left) I read some reviews that said it was confusing trying to figure out how to screw it on. So if you grab a red cannister like me, just look towards the top of it for directions on how to thread the cannister onto it. 2. It did get a little stuck on there after use. I was nervous about breaking it while I was trying to unscrew it from the cannister. I would probably not screw it on so tightly next time. 3. After I took it out of my wort I put it into a bucket I was using for sanitation (sanstar and water). I then opened it up again and let it bubbled up in there for 10 seconds. I figured that was the best way to clean the stone since you can't touch it. 4. I put the head of the stone back into the little zip lock bag it came in, sealed it, and then put everything back into the box for storage. 5. I wouldn't leave it screwed into the cannister. Remember the cannisters are disposable so I am not sure how well they hold a seal if left screwed in. 6. If you don't have a blow off tube, you should probably invest in one after using this! I attached mine into my bung, then put the other end into an old plastic container I had with some water and sanstar. I had to switch it out to a 1 gallon water jug the next day due to the aggressive fermentation happening! So I wouldn't start off with an airlock if I were you.

Before buying this I read all the reviews. I considered not buying it, but went ahead anyway. The product I received works perfectly and as advertised. It has really helped to get my fermentation’s kicked off right away. I wish the stainless aeration wand were longer to reach the bottom of a 6 gallon carboy, but that’s just me being nit picky.

I begun to oxygenate the wort before pitching yeast. Easy to use. Get the oxygen cannister from any hardware store for like $12. Don't forget to sanitize it!

Product showed up quickly and works as advertised. I haven't had any issues with the hose detaching from the wand like others talked about in their reviews. The only issue I had was figuring out how attach the oxygen tank to the regulator. Hint: the tank screws on the opposite way you would think it does.

A very nice little kit. It was easy to use and the construction seems pretty solid. I did my first brew with it and the aeration was soo much better than risking contamination by tossing it back and forth between buckets.Just make sure that you sterilize the end that is going into the wort.
