wasn't too impressed by the quality of the steel - there was no documentation, etc., and no indication of manufacture...however, it appears that these are good enough to cut soft aluminum - i cut two threads of 1/4-20 and although the handle of the die was kinda small, it worked...i would not hold out any hope of using this set on steel..fuddegaboutit!:-)

These thread sizes are garbage. 1/2-13 is not correct. Can't even get a brand new 1/2-13 bolt thru it. Do not waste your money on this trash.

The tap wrench and flutes fit poorly together. The flutes often slip. Bought a separate tap wrench that fit much better.

I like to see the tap with a handle is adjustable or slidable I just put it in a hammer drill

It helped put a show me different British threads on our motorcycles. You probably need about 10 sets to find the right one it did help.
