First thing to note is that the N1 is NOT a full range amp. It is a sub woofer amp only. There is a 2 channel amp available from the same company that has a switch for full range or sub. That is a class AB amp. But the N1 does not have that switch.Williston Audio did a dyno test on this amp. You can find a video on youtube. It tested at 375 watts RMS into 4 Ω @ 1% distortion (certified test) with an efficiency around a whopping 88% Not quite the 400W rated power, but still exceptional for the price. That also means this 1000W amp puts out as much power as some 4000W amps. (you can never go by what's written on the box or the specs sheet, only an actual dyno test tells you the truth) And its efficiency is among the best you will find for modern class D amps.Installation was easy. The hardest part was the physical mounting and keeping track of the three Allen wrenches while the trunk ate my head. I'm sure everyone who has installed amps in their trunk have been there. This amp has some serious thump behind it. Now it's a matter of how long it lasts, and some small matter about the name. I should revisit this review in a couple years.

The amp is a steal for the amount of rms power it puts out.
