Needed to swap a PNP to an NPN for a CNC project. Worked right out of the box and was simple to wire. Created a little 3D printed case for it to keep it clean and make it easy to mount.

Did exactly what it says it does. I used it to shift logic levels on my CNC router. Very pleased.

Works great to switch higher voltage logic signals with an Arduino. I'm using this on a CNC plasma cutter with an Arduino based torch height controller and Geckodrive G540. The G540 is powered by 24VDC and it's inputs are 12V logic active low. This module (5V->24V) allows the Arduino outputs to control the G540 inputs, and also provides an additional layer of isolation between the high voltage plasma source and the PC running Mach3

These are available as NPN and PNP, and in 4 different voltages. I bought 5 to 24 and 24 to 5 volt models for a CNC router I am building. They work fine. Usually the NPN (active pull-down, resistive pull-up) will be what most applications would use. Lacks a detailed spec sheet though.

Before adding this to my DIY Arduino based CNC machine I was having jobs constantly interrupted by noise on my limit switch inputs. Twisted shielded cables and capacitors helped, but the problem didn't go away until I added this between all my limit switches and the input pins on my CNC hardware. 4 channels is perfect for X, Y, Z and even the probe.

easy mounting to din rail with plastic clips, worked well to isolate my proximity limit switches on my mini cnc

This version inverts the output. If that's not what you're looking for, use this version, instead (make sure the description ends in "to PNP"):https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TCWG4M5Pros:* fairly compact* 4 independent pairs of inputs/outputs.* easy to use - just supply your own output power sourceYour own power source must be supplied at the output (for whatever voltage you need the output signal to be).Cons:* Only 150 mW output (ED817 opto-isolator chip has an absolute maximum outout rating of 10mA)* Overly-bright LEDs. Larger resistor values would keep them from using so much power on the inputs and still allow them to light up.
