Broke mid nut crack

Handle broke on the first one I purchased after a few dozen nuts. Returned it for another of the same. Second one broke after 50 or so nuts. Works really well, but just isn’t strong enough at the point we’re they installed black plastic on the handle.

Worked great until the handle snapped off. Turns out only the cracking portion is metal. The handles are painted/coated to look like metal. Poor value

We bought 2 of these nut crackers because we love the holiday tradition of cracking & eating mixed nuts. After a handful of uses, one of the crackers just broke. Makes it useless. Bummer.
