This square baking dish is the perfect size for 1 slice of bread. It bakes in the microwave. Also, 1/4 of a cake fits perfectly. Thesre cakes are made with almond flour so an 8 " x 8" cake is 16 servings. This makes a perfect 4 serving recipe of several cakes by a recipe developer in Malaysia. Coffee cake, Lime cake. Pumpkin cake, Brownies. I love this little glass dish, microwave and oven safe. I love the size. Its a great value for the price. It's square so it makes a perfect piece of bread. It can be used for sandwich or toasted. Great little baking dish. It's approximately 5" x 5", maybe slightly smaller on end with the handles. Not much. I'm not looking at it but my guess for the depth would be 2 1/2 inches. If you have need for a single serving square dish, this is your dish.

Cute little dish needed for heating a round of Harbison cheese. Would work for small Brie, too. Also would be a cute serving dish.

I bought to use in my small basket air fryer in November 2024 that has a square basket that is almost 8"x8". I've baked brownies, enchiladas, casseroles, veggies, reheated leftovers, baked cornbread and a little cake using it and it's been perfect so far! It's January 2025 and so far I would buy it again, without question!I chose this pan as it has the little handles so it would give me something to grab to pull it out easier, there is another pan available with no handles and I just thought it would be too slippery for handling when hot and I'd be at more risk for burning myself.Been thinking of buying another one so I can pull out one and slip in another (after letting the basket cool down a little bit and making sure that the glass itself is room temp so it doesn't crack) so that if I do another layered cake I don't have to wait for a layer to cool and then wash and dry to do the next layer.Short version? Definitely would buy it again.

I needed a 5x5†dish for a recipe, this was the closest I could find , it did overflow in the oven a bit.It does list the specific size, so not complaining about that …… but have a cookie sheet under it. Dish was promptly delivered and packaged well.
