I really didn't want to order these since they're made in China, and Pyrex is made in a town in my area. However, I needed the slightly smaller width of the largest piece to fit in my half oven side of my oven and a half range. It fits perfectly. The pieces are of very heavy quality, and I really like the deeper sides, since one can make larger portions. They're wonderful, even though they are made in China. If you don't need the features I described, please buy American.
